With this Zanzibar itinerary, you can be sure that you will not miss a thing. Even if you only have 4 days in Zanzibar.
This is the perfect spot to reminisce over your safari, rest up from a trek up Kilimanjaro, or just have an amazing vacation.
It is where I learned the fine art of lying on the beach and soaking up the sunshine.
Stone Town is the beautiful historic section of the island’s capital of Zanzibar City. It’s also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It is found on the west coast of Zanzibar Island, about 15 minutes north of the Abeid Amani Karume International Airport. Like a lot of historic urban centres along this part of East’s Africa coast, Stone Town is an eclectic blend of cultures.
You will see Arabic, Indian, European, and Persian influences, with a foundation of native Swahili. It is a mystical maze of narrow pathways, coral stone buildings, and artistically carved wooden doors.
Much of this beautiful old architecture, left behind by previous occupants of the island, is found on the waterfront.

Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ZANZIBAR
You will be met by our office representative at the Zanzibar Airport or Harbor to Tausi Hotel which will be arranged for you. The hotel is in the heart of Stone Town. The hotel is bed and breakfast.

DAY 2: STONE TOWN TOUR – NUNGWI BEACH
Morning after breakfast, you will be met by our guide who will guide you to Stone town tour. The Old stone town is part of Zanzibar city which was declared as world heritage side by UNESCO since 2000. With your guide you will walk on the footsteps of old town across the dilapidated building of Zanzibar, exploring the wonderful labyrinths of Zanzibar and most historical sites including the house of wonders (national museums), old fort, old slave market, fruits and fish market, spice market, bazaar, streets, Zanzibar curved door and their roles. Today you will experience local lunch on the street of Stone town.
Hotel: Bed and breakfast.

DAY 3: STONE TOWN – NGUNGWI BEACH
After breakfast in the morning you will check out and heading to north west of Zanzibar at Nungwi beach. On the way we will stop for spice tour, exploring spices, coconut tee climb, fruits, and test some of the Zanzibar tropical fruits. After lunch you will head to Aman beach bungalows or similar hotel. You will spend and relax the rest of your time at this finest beach of Zanzibar.

DAY 4: NGUNGWI BEACH – AIRPORT
Today you will depend on your flight time. If you have a time, you can still enjoy the beach until your perfect time to be picked up. Our drive will pick you on time and head to airport for your flight back home.
